p0753 failure and asr off

Hi from the Canary Islands.

I have a 2000 automatic convertible 3.8 Camaro, and with a failure. It show the p0753 error and the asr will come on when the gear is in. I have no other light coming on like abs or so. We have not the reading of the abs codes. We have changed the 1-2 solenoid and the speed sensor, but still the error comes on.

Can anyone give me a hint? Are the asr and p0753 related in any way?maybe i should look some wire harness, or connections?

Thank you for your help. It is actually quite difficult to find info for my chevy here in the middle of the atlantic.

Another quick question: what cheap scan tool would you recommend? but one that would read abs and be able to send instrucions to the pcm, for instance...

regards
