i have a 1986 z28. it has a t5. i want to know the overdrive ratio. any help would be appreciated. as close as i can tell it is around .64. is that about right.

 

Found this.... But there are some different varities out there...

BORG WARNER T5 -
2.95 - 1.94 - 1.34 - 1.00 - 0.74

 

when i did the figuring on a top speed calculator. i figured it to be around .64. that is as long as my tach and speedo are accurate. i called a tranny shop and they said that there were 5 or 6 different variations. he couldnt tell me unless i gave him the part number off of the 5th ring.
