opinions on clutch..

opinions on clutch..

I have a 97' trans am w/ 52k miles on it..i want a new clutch that'll grab a little harder than my stock one..i just have boltons and gears on my car..nothing major around 300-315rwhp i'd say..ive heard alot of you guys are rockin' the stage 2-3 specs..and i've also heard some other brands out there..im lookin to spend around the 350 bucks area..maybe a little more or less..any ideas? thanks

Sounds like the SLP clutch would be good for you ..

You can get the SLP PP with throwout bearing and SLP DISK for around the price your looking to spend, Resurface your stock flywheel and your good to go.

I got this same setup and it cost me $240 to have it installed at a local shop

where do you get ur flywheel re-surfaced?

I just purchased a Spec stage 2 from combination motorsports, I havent installed it yet but it is supposed to be a good clutch for a bolt on application. cost me $399. A local tranny shop is going to re surface the flywheel for like $40.
