Re: Only 1 tire going bald!!

When you take off (or do a burn out) do both tires spin evenly?

Sounds like the posi is starting to wear out causing one tire to take the brunt of the turning force.

I had the same thing happen to me, and my posi was fine.

Must be something that causes them to wear unevenly

Re: Only 1 tire going bald!!

when driving, it's not noticable. is there a way to tell if one side is spinning more than the other?

actually i tried a brakestand, and it started drifting to the side

Depends on how it's wearing.

If it is an even, across the board, wear then I am tempted to say check the posi. If the sides of the tire are being worn out, then the camber is probably effed.

wow! howd u change the camber on your solid rear?

id say your tire is spinning when you punch it, do you ever punch it and it feels like you have traction but your revs jump up?

Sorry, next time I will use the appropriate smiley to communicate my sarcasm.
