One Wheel Wonder

Right after i had a shop install my richmond 3.73's, a few days later i tried power braking it to see how well the gears smoke the tires. Well smoke rolled, but when i looked at the lines, i only saw one! i know when you change the fluid in these rears that you're supposed to throw in a "limited slip additive"? Maybe thats why its not laying down two wheels anymore or could it be a different problem im not seeing? I need to know something so if its the shop's fault i can get them to take care of it. Thanks for all your time

Check your RPO codes to see if the car left the factory with posi. The aditive actualy makes the clutches grab less and allows you to easily make turns. I doubt the shop would have screwed it up.

Hmmm, if fluid is not causing it to all of a sudden do this, what could it be fresh out of the shop like that?

Are you sure it was working correctly just before the gear install?

As far as burning out and spinning sideways, yes i am 100% positive. I saw nor felt any signs or symptoms of things going bad or wrong. I never really dogged it hard as it is, with these new gears id like to lol but with one wheel its no fun, emberassing and all in all just not what i want. Maybe i'll have to get another carrier?

What is the install shop have to say about the so called problem. Was a limited slip carrier used or did they inspect one before the install???
