OK I need help, manual transmission swap-interested

Alright so my 4L60E has a huge hole in the transfer case. I need a new tranny. Ok here is the deal, how much would it cost me to do a manual transmission swap? I know this has been asked before, but I need something for ME, I can't really relate to guys that have 00 SS's etc.

What I need to know is what will fit my 1997 Firebird Formula, and what is tough! I also need to know EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTIHNG i'll need to make this swap possible! I need help on this like you have no idea.

I'm planning on doing this swap as soon as I find a transmission in a junkyard (none around here have any)
What I've figured in price so far is:
Flywheel $140 (get $90 back at discount auto for the core, so I'm gonna try to take my flexplate in instead so it'll only be $45 )
MC $80-90
Clutch Slave $40-60
Pedals $20-50 (junkyard item)
Counsel ??? (another junkard item)
Tranny Crossmember $??? (junkard)
Shifter $170-180 for Pro 5.0/B&M ripper or junkard stock for less $
Clutch/pressure plate $400-600
Tranny $??? (need to find one first)
Box of bandaids $2.69
Being able to shift freely through all 6 gears . . . PRICELESS (actually, around 2000-2300 I'm predicting )

Transmission
Bellhousing
All sensors on transmissin(Except CAGS&Skip shift solenoid)
VSS pigtail
T-56 crossmember
Clutch of your choice, flywheel
shifter
Console piece
Pedals
clutch & slave cylinder
Shifter boot(unless you want a breeze comming in through the hole like me)
You can get a kit with everything off of ebay for under $2000 excludeing shipping. Some people even sell them in Parts for Sale but i would watch who you buy from since alot of people have been getting scammed. Its an easy swap and is much more enjoyable then the automatic.

Re: OK I need help, manual transmission swap-interested

Heres my cost...
Tranny with everything + clutch 1950 shipped (didn't want to even try a stock clutch)
SLP clutch 400
Pro 5.0 + shift **** ~200
RAM adjustable master cylinder 160 shipped (didn't like it engaging RIGHT off the floor)
Tune+shipping 75
pigtailes 40
fluid 40 (went with gm syncomesh you can get cheaper fluid)
misc stuff I was missing ~100
LPE driveshaft ~250 (stocker was out of balance)
And I'm sure I'm leaving out some stuff
Whatever you think its going to cost, its going to be way more.
Taking the old stuff out is easy, taking out the tranny is easy, putting in the tranny and clutch is easy. The hardest part was the pedals and cutting the hole for the hydrolics. I got an adjustable master cylinder because I didn't like it engaging right off the floor and I figured speed-shifting would be a bitch with it like that.
