Obdi 4l60e??

I know '93 and '94's arn't the same...but what about '95-'97? I have a '95 LT1 that I rebuilt, now I need the trans. I'm using the stock PCM. Is the interface from '95-'95 the same to the PCM?

Only reason I ask is b/c a few yards told me a 96-96 trans won't fit on a 95...that's new's to me....

Any info would be helpful. If there are any difference, I'd like to know.

Thanks!

95-97 transmissions are interchangeable. A 94 transmission will work in a 95-97 (it may need a couple codes disabled, but it will work), but a 95-97 will not work in a 94 without a few tweaks. (pcm reflash and 1 wire)

I knew it! So, there arn't any harness changes from 95-97? I'm not going to look for 93's or 94's, so that's not a problem.

There are, but none would affect the transmission.

Yes, I know the engine harness had changes between those years, but I was talking just about the trans...sounds good...the yards are crazy!

Physical dimensions are identical too, correct?

Never trust anything a junkyard has to tell you. I've learned that one the hard way on my beater car.

Sometimes they forget they are selling "junk"

It's amazing what they pay for a wrecked car and the amount of $$ they probably get off of each one.
