noise comming from rearend

my car has been making a quite howling/sueaking noise when turning corners real slow.
also when i gear down the rear end feels like it is locking and giving me a real slight wheel hop. it feels like it bounces a bit when gearing down

any ideas of what it could be

Re: noise comming from rearend

You might need to add some limited slip additive.

Re: noise comming from rearend

you did not specify if you had the auburn or torsen differential, if it's the torsen it's time to replace it...
