Question No No, seriously, tinking AND clunking noise

I'm the, um, happy? owner of an 01 Z28 that likes to break. The car's bone stock and driven normally on a daily basis. I'm having two bothersome rear end noises. The first is immedietely when you put it in gear you hear a "tink" a lot like bad u-joints, but I've already changed those and they still are a-ok. Let me try to explain when it does this. Let's say you pull into a parking lot, and don't put the car in reverse and I can go back out and put the car in drive and I won't hear that tink sound until I use half throttle then it does it about 5 or 6 times. But you can make the car "tink" every time you go from forward and reverse and a dead stop with no throttle. It's like something (gears, bearing?) have a lot of play. My next problem is a clunking sound coming from the rear end when slowing down from any speed under 35 down to about 10. Totally random clunking sound. Seems to do it more on left hand turns. Tranny checked out ok and the rear suspension is all ok. It's all been checked at the shop. Rear gears? any help is appreciated
