No line pressure in tranny. Bad pump?

According to my tci box im not getting any line pressure when the car is running No gear works. Tranny is full. Is there anything i can test or is the pump just mechanical and it failed? Drop the pan anything

Dont know if this matters or helps cause pump failer. What i was doing before problem:
Lanched the car on the brake. Made a pass through 2nd then lifted. Car pulled normal through second then i put it back into overdrive to cruise and the problem was there

thanks

Yes, if you're getting no line pressure then it's most likely a pump problem.

thanks for the reply. Yeah i just pulled the cooler line and no fluid at idle. Are the pumps on the 4l80 something that i can get to by pulling the front cover off or does the trans have to come apart

thanks

The transmission has to come out and come apart. Gee, I thought all you guys told me these 4L80E's never fail?
