1994 Z28, the car starts and idles fine, but when in gear and going through the gears it starts fine, stays in first gear way to long till about 4000rpm and then goes directly to 3rd gear seems like its missing 2nd gear. What could this be? Tranny completely shot or just something small.

Mine did the exact same thing.....had to do a full rebuild.
