I have an Edge and love it, there are even some guys on the Impala board pulling out Vigs in favor of Edge. What is wrong with the 2800 Yank in your sig? That should be a good converter?

Midwest?

I got a midwest 2800 stall 9.5" lockup converter shipped for $455. I kind of wish I had gone a little bigger but that's my fault- the converter itself has been excellent.

the 9/11 or 10 /12 design is also very popular.this converter features a 12"cover so the lock up clutch is not compromised in surface are as well as the deletion of the damper to reduce lock up disk slippage as well as reduce engagement time .although the camaro crowd may not be aware of this piece it is well respected in the turbo buick and sy ty crowd.stall speeds are very tunable and simple to configure for given applications.this converter has been slammed unfairly by prescicion industries publicly ,but ican attest to its performance as it is installed in almost every lock up 2004r,700r4 and 4l60e we sell.very reliable and efficient .hydraulic coupling above stall speed without lock up is 92 percent in most applications.this is the mark of a good piece.www.ckperformance.com
