newbie with a shifter question

newbie with a shifter question

have a 6 speed, need some ideas of which shifter to get,, any thoughts

There are several people like, but having owned 2 5.0's with 5spds I highly highly recommend the pro 5.0. Has stops to keep from bending forks and it's virtually impossible to miss a shift or go into the wrong gear(which is highly common on the 2-3 shift on mustangs) also has 33% shorter throws I believe. A very high quality unit, and very easy to install. Another people like is the B&M Ripper I don't know many details about that though, just heard it's a nice shifter. Without owning an M6 F-body I can't give you personal experience for sure. But those are the two I've seen most often installed.

pro 5.0 basically owns the shifter market....cant go wrong with one
