New Tranny Pan

Has anybody ever put a new tranny pan on their transmission? I was looking at the tranny pans at summit and they all hold an extra quart of fluid, but will these hang to low and scrape on everything? I don't plan on ever lowing the car.

We've had many customers who wanted them installed when we built their transmissions. Most have ended up removing them because they don't have enough ground clearance.

Remember, GM offers a deep pan on their 4L60E's for truck applications. There's a good reason why they never put them on F-Bodies.

Thats what I figured, but my car is starting to get old I was thinking of anyway possible to get some life out of the tranny before it goes. I am going to put in a cooler in the next few days, anything else I should think about?
