i just received my new edge racing 3000k stall and put it in my car with a freshly built '60E. I LOVE IT. i just thought i would throw this out there in case anyone was in need of a new one and wondering what kind to buy. i would recommend edge to anyone!

How much do the converters from them run and at what power levels are they rated to?

i would like a 3800 to my car, do you think would be too much stall?
i have a big radiator for transmission oil and the transmission is fresh (1 month) with upgrades.. i use my car daily but less than 30 miles.

hmm..how many rpm are you gonna turn your motor? if its only 6000 then i would say thats too much. but if youre gonna turn it 7000+ then it should work fine! my engine is stock but not for long. i may be gettin a comp cam pretty soon and then some bigger injectors, TB, headers and a dyno tune.

I had an EDGE 3400 in my Trans Am. It worked great, droped .7 off my 1/4 mile times with ET streets. It held great and never had a problem, I went manual when I blew my second 4L60E, still have the converter though. I'm holding on to mine as I got the 4l60E rebuilt incase I want to go back auto.

I find the stall is most noticable when mashing it from a very slow roll 8)
