New Ram HDX Clutch and I'm not happy

I just had a brand new Ram HDX (part # 88516hdx) installed in my 97 SS at a local trusty shop. The first few days of driving it i was really pleased, gripping hard and early (pedal would be 1 inch off the floor when it would grab)

My concern is that the clutch now has about 70 easy driven miles on it so far and it's starting to feel like it was never changed!!! pedal feel has gone back stock or lighter, and now it grabs when the pedal is about 80 percent out!!

Im driving this thing very easily because i destroyed the new clutch in my thirdgen by driving it hard.

The shop machined the flywheel, so i was thinking is it possible they took off to much material??

thanks for any help or suggestions.

All of my new SPEC installs had the clutch engage on the last 1" and I've got plenty of hard miles on it Maybe the hydraulic system was full of air and it finally got bled out from driving it?

I dunno this clutch was supposed to be "heavy duty" comparable to a stage2.
And I guess I was kinda hoping it would drive a lil tougher. As long as it holds up to it's claim and grips hard i'll be happy. but im only at 100 miles so i dont want to slam it in 2nd just yet.

When i got my madz28 tune back i could completly spin the tires lose in 2nd gear (before my stock clutch died).
