New hydraulics didn't brake plastic strap on slave????
New hydraulics didn't brake plastic strap on slave????
Is the strap holding the slave compressed suppose to brake on the first push of the clutch? I installed all new hydraulics because I am having disengagment problems w/ my new clutch setup and went to unbolt the slave after testing (didnt help at all btw) and noticed the plastic straps were still connected, so I cut them.
Does this mean anything about what my problem could be?

Mine broke the first time I pressed the pedal. I have seen at least one other post saying that they didn't break. I don't think it makes any difference. The straps aren't strong enough to hold the slave piston back even it they don't break.
