new clutch problems, please help!!

new clutch problems, please help!!

a friend of mine (i helped a little) put a new stock clutch in my 96 ws6, it shifts good but it is incredibly difficult to put it in reverse, and 75% of the time its hard to get in first, all of the other gears are fine, any thoughts? thanks alot for the help~gunter

You could try removing the connection to the reverse lockout solenoid and see if the problem goes away. If not maybe you have air in the clutch line between the slave and t/o bearing.
Just some ideas.

try bleeding the system again, thats what it sounds like
