Need pinion angle for 94 -Fbody
Need pinion angle for 94 -Fbody Don't know if the auto and manual are different, but I'm going from a 6-speed to an auto, and removing the
torque arm and setting up ladder bars, but need the pinion angle to start with.
I didn't get it off the car before I removed and sold the old tranny.
any help thanks.

Not sure what a factory angle would be but a good setup for the street auto or manual is in the -1 to -2 deg range. You can go -3 to -4 at the track if your running sticky tires, but probably shouldn't cruise with that much negative angle on the street, but it will help at the track. I run a -1 deg on the street.

Re: Need pinion angle for 94 -Fbody
Thanks your the only one to reply across 4 forums,
I'm setting up the ladder bars and one of the people pointed me to some sites, and they talk about with ladder bars only needing 0.5-1.5 deg so
I'll have to check it once they get in and set it for that.
Thank you very much.

I believe the factory setting is 0* Sphon recomends setting running -1* for the street with their adjustable TA. Ive got mine set to -1* and it seems to work well.
