Need M6 Help !!!!!!!!!
So i decided since im gettin new tires tomorrow id spin the old ones for fun tonight. Well after cooking the rubber i took off stop to back up and examine my signature and the vehicle wont go into reverse. I spelled clutch horribly and the clutch pedal is extremely light, i have had a problem with gears grinding every now and then here lately the clutch in the vehicle is a z06 clutch and the slave cylinder was replaced when the tranny was rebuilt and the new clutch installed at the same time. I checked the clutch fluid level and its full but looks horrible. Its black!! Also I cant shift into reverse at all and the clutch is definitely not fully disengaging, I smell clutch at ever stop and have a hell of a time getting it into first gear and shifting as well, any help is greatly appreciated. HELP!?!?!
EDIT
Okay i just had a buddy help me out we lifted the rear put the car in 1st with the clutch in and the clutch is obviously not disengaging now where do i go can anyone help?

Don't know if I can help, but a suggestion I can offer.
You said the fluid is black. It shouldn't be that way. Did you do the drill mod to the slave cylinder, or left it alone?
Try to bleed the it.

Re: Need M6 Help !!!!!!!!!
on the driver side of the trans, where the trans case bolts to the belhousing, about 2/3s of the way up into the trans tunnel there is a gap. it has the bleeder screw for the clutch hydrolics.
i wanna say it's a 10mm hex...not sure.
to bleed it you make sure the resevoir is full, have someone step on the clutch and hold it, you crack the bleeder then shut it. repeat untill it's clean looking fluid.

Re: Need M6 Help !!!!!!!!!
It's an 11mm bleeder. Use an 11mm 6-pt shallow socket with a breaker bar...1/4" drive. Using these tools it will work great for you..dont use a ratchet because by the time you flip the switch to change directions on the ratchet, you've already got air into the system.
Bleed it just like the brakes. Have someone pump up the clutch pedal 20-30 times then hold to the floor. Then crack the bleeder for about 1 second then close immediately. Be sure to keep an eye on the M/C as you dont want it getting too low otherwise you'll be sucking air back into the system. Repeat this until your clutch disengages.
