Need help with tranny pull

I'm in the middle of replacing my pilot bushing in my 95 TA. I have already pulled off the actuater, starter, tranny mount, 8 bolts connecting tranny to bellhousing , electronic connections to tranny, etc. I'm about to pull the tranny from the bellhousing, and I already pulled back the fork, where the actuater was at( Not sure if that's what it's called ) and want to know if it will simply seperate or if I have to do anything else? I really apprecaite any help! Sorry if this doesn't make any sense, had too many beers doing it =) Thanks guys! I've searched differnt clutch sites, but most don't pull the fork back, and they have to wrench it when they pull back the tranny, so I'm a little confused.

Re: Need help with tranny pull

As long as your driveshaft, torque arm and shifter assembly are disconnected, you should be ready to pull the tranny. The LT1 style clutch fork is shaped like a "Y" and slides over the throw out bearing so as long as you pulled the fork out towards the back of the car it should be fully disconnected.
