Need Help FAST!

I have the chance to buy an 86' body for $300.00! Talk about cheap, and there is only the smallest amount of rust on it. The only problem is that it had a V6 with a 200r4 in it. I have a newly rebuilt 88' roller cam 305 from a Camaro with an 82' newly rebuilt TH350 that came out of a truck I believe on it sitting in my garage. Will this engine and tranny bolt in without problems? My main concern was the driveshaft length being too short or long. I figured I could always drill new crossmember holes to accomodate the differenece in tranny tailshaft lengths if need be. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I need to move on this FAST! Thanks.

My friend put a 350 and TH350 in his 87 Firebird which was a V6 originally and all fit fine allthough I am unsure about the drive shaft, a local drive shaft shop could fix that problem for fairly cheap anyways.

Re: Need Help FAST!

The V-6 sat farther back in the frame; therefore the trans sat in the same place and the driveshaft is the same length.
