I just purchased a 91 Camaro, 3.1 RS. I took it to get smogged on Saturday and it passed no problem. I got on the freeway yesterday, and the car wouldn't go over 25-30 mph. Now it's even worse. I believe it's the transmission, but I really don't know and don't have alot of money. What does it sound like it could be? Also, the REAR U-JOINT is bad, is that difficult to repair. Thanks for any help.

 

what are your RPMs like? Does the car make any noises? Need more info. The the rear U-Joint is easy to replace. Its only a couple of bolts and you can pop it out.
