For some reason, maybe it did this before and i never noticed it, and once i did the U joints on the car, i now am looking for perfection in my driveline.... i dont know why, but lately i have been noticing a very faint "clunk" from 2nd to 3rd on my trannie.... only happens when im barely on the gas... like if i full throttle, or even half throttle, it doesnt make it (or its not noticable anyways..) or if i press the gas, and right before i want it to shift to third, i let off the gas for a second... it doesnt make the noise then either....

fact is, i dont like noises, no matter how faint or innocent they may be, i want to make sure everything is running smooth... should i worry about this? i noticed even after the u joint change, i still have a little bit of driveshaft slap when i shift from neutral or park, into gear.... usually the transition from neutral to drive, back to neutral and back to drive again is smooth, same with reverse... but if i go from reverse to drive and vice versa, it slaps a little bit... once again, very slightly... but still i dont like it. i have a shiftkit, so i dont know how much of a difference that will have on things like i described... but i know the shiftkit in my TH350 in the nova i had didnt make the sounds this does.... but hey, a whole other trannie, on a whole other car, with whole other problems with it lol someone tell me what im experiencing is normal, and if not, what i can do to fix it
