Re: Moser Axles.........

No, because they aren't going to do anything to help stop your 10 bolt gears from breaking.....

Agreed about the breaking of gears. If you are adiment on getting new axles, I bought the set from Superior with a lifetime guarantee through Summit Racing for 140-160 I believe. They say that they are 30% stronger than stock but who knows. I just got them because one of the splines on my LT1 axles was screwed up. Hopefully I won't have to turn down the axles for my LS1/C5 parking brake swap. They are supposed to be for 93-02 but we shall see.

I had 3.73s, stock posi, stock axles and a girdle. I thought i'd be good to go for a while with only a cammed LT1, needless to say i now have a Moser 9".

Through Summit? Do you have a part number on those? The price must have gone up... a lot. These would be a nice slip-in fit for my 8.8" for that price.

Re: Moser Axles.........

EV10-5 for 93-96 Camaro/Firebird is what it says on the box. Here is the link to them in Summit: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...0&autoview=sku

Sorry, I was wrong on the price. I thought that I paid 160 but it turns out that I paid 245. Summit says different on the warranty but when I bought them Superior's website said that the EV Axles had a Limited Lifetime Warranty Hopefully I wont have to turn the axles down to fit in the LS1 parking brake during my conversion but something tells me that I will have to.
