Moser 9" Leak

Thought I'd share a problem/solution in case others have this issue. I've got a Moser 9" housing and axles that has had a leak at the axles from day one. I replaced the seals that press in the axle tubes, replaced the o-rings in the end "plate" with no luck. I decided to take it to a shop and they discovered that the axle is tampered in the area where the axle tube seal mounts. This diameter should be constant as it needs to mate with the seal. They added 0.100" shims and new seals to move the seal further out on the axle to increase the diameter of the axle shaft to get a good seal. Time will tell if it's fully cured.
