Moser 9, how to tell what size carrier bearings I need?
I'm borrowing a friends Moser 9 inch with 3.70 gears and 31 spline axles. I am wanting to put 4.30 gears in it? What size carrier bearings should I get for the gear install? 289?, 3.06?, 3.25? Thanks, Roy

The Carrier bearing size is determined by the 3rd member u are using.
Most stockers were 2.89, some of the better ones were 3.062, Most aftermarket 3rd members are either 3.062 or 3.250. Best way is to measure what you have and go from there.
