Moser 9"

I just got an amazing deal on a Moser 9" with 4:10, detroit locker, through bolt aluminum center and 35 spline axles set up for 4 channel abs with a denny's chromolly driveshaft for $2200. Now the question is will my stock torque arm mount up properly or should I wait untill I have the cash for the spohn before I install it. I am not in any hurry because my 10 bolt is ok and I already have 4:10 now. If anyone can clue me in to anything else I may need to complete the install please let me know.

i have a moser 9 inch and the torque arm bolted in just fine...it was a direct bolt in, the only thing i needed was a 1350 series u joint for the DS.

Re: Moser 9"

Using the stock TA on the 9" will cause suspension bind and could end up breaking parts...The 9" center section is offset to the drivers side and requires a TA with the mounting holes offset to account for the position of the rear...The stock TA may bolt up but it will no longer be in alignment (squared under the car)..Most aftermarket TAs, Spohn, BMR, have 2 sets of mounting holes: one for the stock 10, 12 bolts, and one for the 9"...

Re: Moser 9"

As stated above, the TA arm is offset. You'll likely need to alter your driveshaft length as well.
