Mcleod Twin w/aluminum flywheel

I just wanted to brag and let everyone know that for my 30th B-day last week my wife surprised me with the Mcleod Twin with the aluminum flywheel and master! And I am happy about that!

Congrats. Don't let her get away, she's a good one! Let us know how you like it when you get it all installed.

Re: Mcleod Twin w/aluminum flywheel

Congrats. I think tou will enjoy this setup.
I elected to go this route after 2 SPEC3 replacements. The steel vs aluminium flywheel was a big decision, but decided to go aluminium since I had a good working steel FW as a backup,in the event I didn't like the aluminium.
Happy to say the streetability with the Aluminum FW has not been an issue but there is no weight savings to be had.
If you are installing this yourself, be sure you keep the shims where they are at between the discs, from how it was shipped.
I had a slight issue getting the tranny to slam home due to the dual disc, but bought some longer tranny bolts to temp hold things inline, and just bumped the starter a tad and all went together. ENJOY
