McLeod Master Cylinder install tip.

When I was bench bleeding the master/slave cylinder assy. (LT1 style) I noticed a slight leak from the banjo fitting where the braided line connects to the master cyl. I called McLeod and they sent me 2 new Stato seals, and told me to check for interference where the banjo fitting lines up with the flat spot on the master cyl. Sure enough, the fitting was not ground flat far enough back and the corner was hitting on the edge of the cylinder, so no matter how much it was tightened with the bolt, it would never come down square on the master cylinder. A few minutes work with my Dremel and problem solved. If you run into this problem, take out the bolt, hold the banjo fitting over where it fits on the master cylinder and look down through the hole. They should be perfectly lined up. Mine was off by, say, .025"-.030" to one side.
