mcleod clutch problems

i put in a mcleod single disc, with their flywheel and pressure plate. my problem is with the car in the air and ebrake on, i can not shift the car into any gear. with the ebrake off , i can get into any gear without the clutch. i took off the slave and manually pushed in the fork to disengage the clutch and had a friend shift. the car still would not get into gear.

i belive when i shift it to gear with the car running and ebrake off with out the clutch, then push the brakes, the rpms drop but the engine does not die. like the disc is only engaging a little bit to drop the rpms but not enough to kill the engine.

my new flywheel seems to be a little bigger than my used resurfaced flywheel.

im thinking its either the flywheel or pressure plate
