Manual to auto swap

I am in the process of acquiring a six speed rolling 95 formula shell. And I currently have a 95 z28 with a th400 I was wondering what is involved with the switch from auto to manual. I searched on the Internet and came up empty handed any thoughts would be greatly appreciated thanks

Re: Manual to auto swap

Well your obvious parts such as pedal assembly, master/slave cylinders, clutch/flywheel assembly, shifter, 6spd console. I believe the crossmembers are different as well. The stock driveshafts are interchangeable-

Wiring-wise all you should really need is the speedo output and reverse wiring. The other hookups are for the skip-shift solenoids, which most people disable first thing.

Hopefully your donor car has everything you need.

Yes the 95 auto z28 has all the auto stuff. Im assuming I have to weld the hole shut for the trans? And I've noticed on auto cars the is two sets of clips on pass wheel wheel (by battery).but on six speeds there is one. is this a difference at all?
