Manual 6spd to auto swap???

i have searched and searched for info on this. i am having no luck. if anyone has info on doing this swap PLEASE HELP. ok the y's and want's.

ok, i am wanting to do some delay box bracket racing. i know that a power glide is the most consistant way, so my question is can you still use the "stock" crossmember that the 6 speed uses.

i just want it to be as consistant as possible.

If you don't want a 6-speed car, sell it and buy an auto. 6-speeds are rare enough as it is.

Changing transmissions pretty much always requires that you change the crossmember.
