Maintanence schedule for t-56

Well, this is my first standard tranny vehicle, so I'm not "down" on what needs to be done to maintain them properly.

My tranny was starting to shift a little "notchy" for the last few weeks, so I went and had the tranny flushed and the fluid changed today, seems to be shifting great again.

Anyway, my car had 83k on it and I dunno if it had ever been done before, is there anything else that I should be doing to it to ensure it lasts a while?

What about the hydraulics and what not? cable? etc\

Thanks guys

pretty much all you need to do is drain and re-fill with dexron III.

your clutch is hydraulic so it doesnt need to be adjusted.
