M6 rebuild. What parts do I need?

My M6 needs to be rebuilt (2nd, 5th, and 6th all grind shifting into gear). So my question is do I just need the rebuild kit or the kit and synchro assemblies (plus upgrades of course!)? This will be my first M6 rebuild and I wanna have all the parts ready, if thats even possible...

1-2 syncro, 5-6 syncro, rebuild kit( should include new blocking rings and fork pads, if not, then you will need those too.) It may not be a bad idea to get a 3-4 syncro too, as they usually take the most abuse. You will need a press, split plate, and a long armed puller.

I just rebuilt another one last weekend, makes 6 total ive done, they really are a piece of cake. PM me if you have any more questions.

Why not just go with a rebuild package from Tick. Eliminate the guesswork and still do it yourself.

I just got my T56 rebuilt with parts from The Gear Box and so far it is flawless. Once the tranny was apart I had to call them back to get bearings and a 5th and 6th cluster gear. Great people to work with, if you have any questions I recommend you giving them a call.

Thanks for the replies guys. I already ordered my parts from the gear box and got them last week. I'm very happy with their service. Hopefully this weekend I'll pull the tranny and rebuild it!
