Help - M6 Difficult Shifts

93 Z28 with an M6 and today it started to become very difficult to shift into any gear, especially 1st and reverse. I had to jam it pretty hard to get it into gear and drive it home. When I got there I checked the slave cylinder reservoir and it was completely empty. I'm assuming this would indicate a leak somewhere??? I filled it back up with fluid - don't see any drips - but shifts are still very difficult. Any ideas? Thanks.

Re: M6 Difficult Shifts

Have you checked the tranny fluid level? Also did you bleed the clutch system? You may still have air in the lines. I am using a 93 tranny and I had similar problems...

Good luck.

If both of those arn't the case you may want to replace the Master/Slave assm. Pretty easy R/R

Re: M6 Difficult Shifts

After letting the car sit for several days it is shifting OK now. Strange...only thing I did was fill up the fluid reservoir with DOT3 and let it sit.
