I've grenaded two McLeod clutches, the springs come apart in high rpm launches (unless you buy the street twin). So stay away from the the "7500 rpm" version...

I'd recommend the LT4 setup if you are on a budget. which I think is the only pressure plates that you can buy anymore (LT1 pressure plate was replaced by the LT4). You can tell the difference by the fingers, the LT4 are thicker and flat. The LT1 has a raised center in the fingers, and they are thinner. Of course most companies modify the Valero (LT4) pressure plate to be stronger.

I think even the local parts stores carry LT4 PP.. Just FYI..

SPEC is fine. Mine's great and looks great after 2500 miles of use. Depends on the power you're making as to which to choose. For bolt-ons, the LT4 or Stage I will do. Even the Stage II is fine as it drives and feels just like stock but grabs far better. I've heard mixed reviews about McLeod too though, its not just SPEC.

Spec is fine? You only have 2500 miles on it man. Dont go defending them yet...

Spec sprung hubs suck. Dont buy one unless you get the stage 4. It is tame I assure you. Mine drives just like a stocker, it just dont slip when you give it hell.
