Red face LT1 vs LSx Rear

Well I have a chance to land a 9" rear loaded ready to go for 1000.00

The thing I don't know is if the rear ends in a LSX Trans Am/ Camaro are the same as a LT1 cars.

The rear is set up with no ABS (deleted on my car) and has 33 splined axels with a locker and 4.10 gears, Torque arm that has a double jointed drive shaft on it.

Will this work with my 93 TA with a 6-Speed?

Why would some one do a double jointed drive shaft??

Does the driveshaft have a rear mounted CV joint (like the old Cadilacs had) or the 2 piece driveshaft common to the later V6 cars??
