lt1 T56 in an ls1

lt1 T56 in an ls1

i have a t56 from an lt1 and want to put it into an ls1 car. is this possible and if so how? i looked at a few sites and it said i need a new ls1 input shaft, and bellhousing....is there anything else i need? how hard is it to change out the imput shaft?

You will also need a new front plate for the tranny, as well as a LS1 master and slave cylinder.

so if i am swapping it into an ls1 camaro all i would need is the input shaft, bellhousing, and the front plate?

save yourself some money and hassle... sell the lt1 tranny and just buy an ls1 one.... will cost you less in the long run most likely.
