how many bolts attach the bell housing to the motor, and how many bolts attach the trans to the bell housing

also size would be nice to know


I bought a 94 formy and he had the trans out and a whold container of bolts all mixed togather

Six bolts for bellhousing to engine. They are 3/8x16x1.38.

I think the trans to bellhousing uses eight bolts but it's been a while since I took mine out. These are metric bolts and I think the size is M12x1.75x45.
