LT1 PP vs. LT4 PP. Can I use LT1 PP w/ Mccleod?
I am thinking about just sticking w/ and getting a new LT1 PP for my clutch swamp, and using it w/ a mccleod disk. Is this ok? Or do I need to have an LT4 pp?
Whats the major advantage w/ using an lt4 pp?

Jazsun, the advantage of using the LT4 pressure plate & throw out bearing is the +20% additional clamping force over the stock LT1 pressure plate.
It's for this reason that almost all aftermarket LT1 replacement clutch kits use the LT4 pressure plate. Hope this info helps?
