LT1 inspection cover same as SBC?

I am wondering if the bellhousing bolt patterns are the same for an LT1 and manual SBC. I thought I read somewhere that they are the same, just wanted to see if it is true. The reason I ask is I am curious if a SBC inspection cover will fit an LT1 bellhousing. Anyone ever tried this?

UPDATE:

Found this web site: http://ws6zxr.com/archive/index.php?t-11852.html

Apparently the LT1 and SBC bellhousing bolt patterns are the same. I am very tempted to buy a SBC inspection cover and see if it fits. If not, I guess I'll just make something out of aluminum. No sense in spending $40+ for this part from someone on the forums.
