LT1 Center Force Clutches?

What do you guys think about the Dual Friction Center Force clutch for 93-97 LT1's? I need a good street/strip clutch to handle say 500-550hp. Also, wheres the best prices on clutches?

I have the dual friction and love it. It can be a leg cramper in traffic though. I got mine from summit for like 560 a couple years ago. 30,000 hard miles and still runnin strong. It has never slipped.

That happened with a zoom I got from o'rileys. It lasted less than 500 milles.

Make sure you replace your pilot bering next time.

Just curious about the leg cramp thing. The center forcePP is the exact same as the LT4 but with those weight thingys. In general the LT4 is barely harder to push than the OEM LT1 PP. If yours is that much harder to push there may be somthing wrong.

i had one in my z28 and i loved it. Only ran it for 2,000 miles beforei sold the car though. Was a little stiff for traffic but that was okay.

I loved my Centerforce Dual Friction. Only had it in a few months before I sold my lats Z but it pulled awesome with it. Pedal pressure felt like stock and never had a problem shifting into/out of gear.
