LT1 4L60E difference 93-94 and 95-97?

I know its prolly been asked a hundred times but i just want a couple simple questions answered. I have a 94Z in need of a tranny and 90% of the trans i find are from a 95-97 so....
1. what is the actual differences between the years

2.what needs to be done to put the 95-97 in a 94 car

I can't answer your entire question, however there was no 4l60E in 1993, it was still a 4l60 in the camaro.

I would think there wouldn't be any significant difference between a 4l60E in 94 and 95 though. Essentially the same cars after all.

I believe a 94 car needs a 94 year transmission.
