Never seen a 200-4R swapped into an f-body but...
You might need to find a TB bracket off of a auto 93 f-body to work the TV cable to the trans. Other than that you just need the crossmember, flywheel (? not sure if the 200 will work with a 4L60 flywheel), and maybe DS modification. If you're an M6 right now you'll need to make a base for the shifter to sit on after covering the M6 shifter hole in the floorboard. You may also need to check the bellhousing bolt patters, i think the 200 might be in a buick pattern only. But i'm not sure on this.
The 2004R will hold a considerable amount of power if built right.... i know of a few 800hp GNs running built 200s and they're holding up pretty well... just need a refresh at the end of each season.

Re: list everything needed to swap to an A4
i need to re-register on the turbobuick boards to find out more
and yeah, i know what they are capable of handling (i'm an avid TR fan
)
i know alot of the stock eliminator cars use the Metric 200's (3 speeds) but thats an apple and i'm after an orange here
i also need to find that company that makes adapter plates for bellhousings (if i need it)
my main goal is too keep overdrive. 700's from what i have seen are weak and 4L60E's are spensive to build (200's can be also) but i would really like a non electronic A4
plus its different and if i can do it, then i'm special
i'm just surprised that more people havent done this swap....or tried atleast and could offer some insight to me

Re: list everything needed to swap to an A4
It could be a good swap. I kinda consider it in the "middle" between the 700R4/4L60 and 4L80. But the '80 is a direct bolt-in now that BMR makes a k-member for the f-bodies specifically for the swap. And they're bulletproof. And you can have it just about any way you want it.... electric or full manual valvebody. If you can stand the extra weight, i'd go for the 4l80. Built right, you could put insane power though it for years and not have to touch it.
Good luck
