Just ordered the BMR boxed lca's and was wondering if I should get the relocation brackets too. What is the benifit and are they really needed?

Good choice, I hope you got them with the poly/poly setup. If your car is not lowered, you probably do not need them (mine is stock height, and I did not). After the install, if the LCA's are parrallel (sp), or pointing slightly down on the axle side, you are o.k., if they are angled up on the axle side, you will need the relocation brackets to lower the angle.

Like Steve said if your car is not lowered then odds are you will not need relos.

The relocation brackets will also help reduce/eliminate squat on launch which will give you better traction, resulting in better launches. If you aren't racing the car then it really doesn't matter,in fact some people like the squat because of the way it looks.

Re: LCA"s

I have the boxed BMR LCA's with poly bushings, did not need the relocation brackets.
