labor prices-Moser 9" vs. Strange 12-bolt

I'm weighing my options b/t a Moser 9" and a Strange 12-bolt and would like some vendors or those who have had these rear ends installed to give me some quotes on install prices. The Moser 9" I could get shipped free via UPS, but it would need to be assembled and converted to a 3 channel as I have a 3 channel car(1995 Trans Am) and Moser doesn't make 9" in 3 channel. Srange I would have to pay motor freight but it comes already assembled and I can get it in 3 channel. I'll be making 700-850 hp, so I really probably need a 9", but would like to know if it'll be more to install a Moser 9" than a Strange 12-bolt. I was quoted by Thunder Racing and Futral Motorsports as $550 for rear end install, but forgot to ask if that applies to all rear ends. Any experiences or opinions would be appreciated, thanks!

If you have minimal mechanical skills, you should be able to do the install yourself. If not, get a friend with some mechanical experience to help you and save the $550.

Personally, I like the 12-bolts better than the 9" and the 12-bolts have less parasitic power loss.

just delete the ABS and put a 9 inch in there, ABS brakes suck anyway. its nothing ot put a rear in a car, dont waste the money on the install.
