Just wanted to run this one by you guys. I'm still a long way from installing the parts. I have a 1994 LT1 and purchased a Mcleod sfi bellhousing as well as a street twin push style clutch and a Mcleod internal hydraulic throwout bearing.
Is anyone here using this combination? Mcleod says I can use this throwout bearing with no modificatons but when i spoke to T56 rebuids they state that the front trans cover has to be replaced with an LS1 cover to use this bellhousing and internal throwout bearing.
The throwout bearing looks like it will work fine with the stock LT1 trans but I just wanted to check with you guys and see if anyone is using this combination and how it performs.
