install costs

Anyone know about what a shop would charge for a stall convertor and shift kit install?

a shift kit is a separate ordeal from the stall itself...id say $200 for each so $400ish...

do the stall yourself, then pay someone to do the shift kit that knows that they're doing...

Both are pretty easy, did a stall and a shift kit in a 79 vette. Only advise, I did it under the car without a body, and It can get frustrating with the weight of the tranny. Bought a Chilton's book to learn and the instructions on the shift kit were easy. It is a good mod, and I was sucessfull in my endevors. Same your money find a buddy to help.
