Oh yeah, when you buy the rear you get gears of your choice... 3.73's would be my suggestion... but some would still go 4.10 or 4.11 in an auto car.

If I just do a cam and nothing else after that (about 370rwhp) how many of you think the stock rear will be fine. ( I know, could break first pass, could last into 10s but how big of a risk is this?)Remember automatic, no drag radials, stock 2.73s and I don't have wheel hop. Why couldn't they of just built the drivetrain stock. My camaro is getting "slower" everyday and I don't have the money for heads/cam, 9inch, 3200, etc ect ect ectect

I think I'm going with 3.42s, a 2800 stall, tranny kit, and dyno tune. This sound ok? BTW how much of a difference would the 2800 TC make from a 50mph roll. Noticable or very noticable?

Sounds fine, unless your trying to go as fast as possible with as little money as possible. I would bump it up to ATLEAST 3.73's and a 3200. IMO your car is to close to stock to need a dyno tune. Get a simple mail order tune and save yourself some money.

It will not make much of a difference. Stall converters shine from a dig.

What would you consider that I do to the rear end If I were to put a cam and be about 360rwhp? I don't like seeing those 3000.00 prices for the complete rears. What could I do for about 1 grand to the rearend.

His car works good with this stuff!

3600 stall
100 shot w/ 15lb bottle
255/50/16 ET Radials

This is smile city. If the rear gets hurt, you can rebuild with a 3.73 or just find a used rear possible cheaper than a rebuild. I don't see a need for a built trans and rear yet. Goodluck!
